iTeleCenter's Multiple Extensions feature is designed to pull your
company together into one location under one number, no matter where your representatives
may actually be located! Even if you're the only employee, by utilizing multiple
extensions you are giving your small business the big business sound that it needs.
iTeleCenter's mailbox extension boxes are simple to create and extremely
flexible. You can choose any extension number from 1 to 999, unlike most other systems
which lock you into only using limited mailbox extension numbers.
Six different types of mailbox extensions are available: Virtual
PBX, Message Taking, Greeting Only, Question & Answer, Fax On Demand and Automated
Call Distribution (ACD)
Virtual PBX - This type of extension is designed to ring to
a specific person rather than a mailbox. You can assign specific extensions to each
of your employees, departments, sub-contractors and even third party support vendors.
Each Virtual PBX Extension has its own My iTeleCenter login with call forwarding,
mailbox and message notification settings.
Message Taking - Message Taking Extensions will play your
greeting and then prompt the caller to leave a message. This type of extension is
great for Lead Generation.
Greeting Only - Greeting Only Extensions will play your greeting
without providing the ability for the caller to leave a message. You can record
audio overviews of products and services, office location and hours, testimonials,
information in multiple languages and anything else you can think of.
Question & Answer - The Question and Answer feature allows
you to record multiple questions, each followed by a beep in order to record an
answer from the caller. This feature can be set up on any of your Extension Mailboxes
and is great for 24/7 automated order taking and surveys.
Fax On Demand - Give your callers 24/7 access to printed information
with Fax On Demand extensions. Simply upload your documents via the My iTeleCenter
Back Office to create a library of documents that callers can request via fax instantly
any time of day.
Automated Call Distribution (ACD) - With an Automated Call
Distribution (ACD) extension, multiple callers can be on hold simultaneously before
automatically connecting to the next available employee. Calls can also be routed
using ACD extensions so that each employee receives an even share of the calls each
day.
