Call Screening & Announce works with the Enhanced Call Forwarding
feature to screen and announce calls being forwarded to you. With Call Screening
turned on, the caller will be prompted to record his/her name before being connected
with you. When you receive the call forwarded from the iTeleCenter system, instead
of being connected directly to the caller you will hear the caller's name played
to you. Similar to having your incoming calls screened by your personal secretary,
this gives you the ability to take the call or send it to voicemail.
When you receive a call, you'll have 3 options you can choose from:
answer the call, send the caller to voicemail or record a short message to be played
before the caller is sent to voicemail. Callers remain on hold, with music, while
you decide what option works best for you.
